10:00AM – Tour Camp Ripley
11:30AM – Lunch @ Camp Ripley
12:00PM – Travel to Museum
12:45PM – Charles Lindbergh Museum
2:45PM – Travel to Zoo
3:30PM – Hemker Zoo
5:20PM – Travel Back to School
6:30PM – Estimated Time of Arrival at School
COST: $35 per student includes bus and tours.
Parents will have the group rate of $16.00 and will need to transport themselves.
ABOUT THE TRIP
Camp Ripley Training Center: A regional training center hosting numerous ranges and state-of-the-art facilities to support the training requirements of military and civilian agencies. We will visit both the environmental room and military museum.
Charles Lindbergh Museum: Discover the childhood home of Charles A. Lindbergh, the famed environmental activist, inventor, and aviation pioneer.
Hemker Zoo: Zoo with over 200+ Species. We will tour the zoo and hope to participate in a giraffe talk and otter talk.
PRE-K STUDENTS: Since this trip is on a Tuesday our Monday/Wednesday/Friday students aren’t scheduled to be in school but are welcome to come! ALL Pre-K parents have the option to transport their child or have them ride the bus with the rest of the school. Pre-K students who travel with parents will pay the chaperone price.
SNACK: Students should bring a second meal or snack for the drive home from the trip.
