On Monday, March 12th St. Mary’s students performed two spring plays.

Preschool through 3rd grade performed The Bremen Town Musicians, a classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale bout four aging farm animals—a donkey, dog, cat, and rooster—who are discarded by their masters. They decide to escape to Bremen to become town musicians. Along the way, they outsmart a group of robbers, taking over their cozy cabin to live together happily ever after. 

Grades 4th – 6th performed Pets, a short musical that follows seven castaway pets living inside a pet store. When they find out the the store is in jeopardy of being sold they work together to try and save the shop. They learn the value of teamwork, friendship, and how believing in yourself can take you far.
