St. Mary’s students spent October 4–10 learning important lessons about fire safety and how to reduce fire hazards at school and at home. The week was filled with hands-on activities designed to help students understand the importance of fire prevention and safety.

Students participated in an all-school fire drill, enjoyed lunch with members of our community fire department, and took part in a live fire safety presentation. Students had the opportunity to explore a fire truck and even try on firefighting gear, making the experience both educational and exciting!

A special thank you to our community firefighters for taking time out of their busy week to visit St. Mary’s and provide our students with such an informative and interactive learning experience. We are grateful for all you do to keep our school and community safe!
